What is Sway?

The Most Important Thing About You

We live in a world of motion — constantly moving, striving, and searching. We chase success, approval, and identity, hoping to finally feel whole. Yet beneath all the noise, there’s a quiet ache: Who am I? What was I made for?

A.W. Tozer once said,
“What comes into our minds when we think about God is the most important thing about us.”

Every longing of our soul flows from this truth. Who we believe the Creator is shapes everything we believe about ourselves, our world, and our purpose within it.

So, how do we know who He is?
If you want to know who an artist is, start by looking at what they've made.

Creation Spoke First

Long before the first word was ever written, the Creator began to speak through nature—a language everyone could understand. From the beginning, He intended to communicate who He is and what we were made for, through the wonder-filled world He made.

A Rhythm That Sways

Every detail of creation has been intentionally designed and if you look closely, you'll see that there is a gentle rhythm woven through it all - a rhythm that SWAYS. The steady rolling of the tide, the bending of the trees, the dancing of leaves. Everything in nature moves in harmony with its Maker, beginning at rest, anchored by roots, and moving in freedom.

This rhythm is more than a pattern in the world around us. It is also the divine design of our souls.

To Sway is to live rested in the goodness of our Creator, deeply rooted in His unconditional love, and free by His grace. It’s not about religion. It’s about relationship. It’s not something you perform. It’s who you are in Him. (Acts 17:28)
